I installed this unit in my 1161 rebuild...so much nicer than my old Fantastic, which was moved to the head...so much nicer than the factory nasty noisy head fan, which was stockpiled to be recycled!

I found the unit remote very handy...it takes a few times to get all the functions figured out.  Once you know the ones you like and use most often you can almost do it in the dark. the fan is very quiet when running below 60%, but at 100% it sure does evac the stale air.  Used the circulator once on the last trip, but figured the heater was doing enuf so why use the battery.  The data display on the remote is useful and easy to read.   I like the current temp info as well on the display.   The vent hatch opens/closes at a push of a button or you can twist it open or closed,  yet it is stiff and takes some wrist action, if all power out it can be moved.

The best part for me is the cleaning of the screen...4 twist knobs and it is out, no tools at all...it is secure when in place.  It does not need a rain sensor due to the design, left it open most of the time while driving, then when hit cold weather it was closed and just cracked to allow for moisture to escape during the night...it got to 12 on occasion.

I found this unit to be an excellent product, well made and thought out.  It doesn't rattle when windy and parked.  Mine is white, the old Fantastic was blue and is in the bathroom, as to color I like the white..  I do need to make a cover for the really cold weather camping.  In this case all vents are equally cold!
