1.  Chain up.  Like the idea and getting the chains up.  Easy and effective EXCEPT ours

tore at first use.  The rubber tore and the unit can still be used over the ball.  Have tried repeatedly to get a response and replacement from fastway...no luck yet.

2.  Zip breakaway cable.  Like it and it, too, helps clean things up and reduce dragging items at the hitch  Easy and effective.

3.  Magnetic towel holder.  Excellent and powerful.  Stays firmly attached (we put it on the

front side of the stove vent, also possible on oven door) when traveling.  Was a great solution in the smaller 1575 space.

Good suggestions.

 

On the breakaway coil, would you suggest the 4 or 6 foot one?  I suppose the 6 footer would leave plenty of turning room, and with not a big difference in price I would hate to have it too short and activate it...

 

I use a 14 inch zip tie over the hitch to keep the chains up, much like the diagram in your link.

I'm assuming you use a WDH. This is the one for use with WDH. The one you're using is made for NO WDH.

 

6' is what I've read on the lanyard. I bought a 4' but haven't used it because it seemed a little short.

Fastway sent me a new one.  We'll see how it holds up!
